Slugfest batter does not evolve to next tier

It doesn't make sense that the slugfest prize batter does not evolve to the next tier if you already have him maxed. I already had Encarnacion maxed at bronze and am in silver myself. Once I passed round five he did not evolve so I had to use EVO tokens to evolve him myself to silver and the next time I passed level 5 then he evolved to level 2.

It goes back to the “Bronze Age” as I call it.  It really should balance with your team level.

What would be nice is if you beat the walk-off hero or slugfest event twice in the same event that your player would level up from Bronze level 1 to silver level 1 and so forth, up to whatever level your team is at. Would help a lot more at the platinum/diamond levels!
