I never saw their "rush rewards" from their last update either. (1.1) Maybe I missed something there?

Verlander prime now has a pitcher bonus skill. It was added yesterday because I've been eyeing those boxes for awhile and they weren't there prior. There's a section that suggested we check our pitchers to see if they have pitcher skills and sadly, none of mine do.
