I have come to realize that I barely am able to claim my rewards after Club vs Club and sometimes other events. Some of us come online when we see the CvC notification, and forget to claim our rewards because we sign out until the next matchup. There should be no reason for us to have to claim rewards and miss out in it if we were there to work for it to begin with. Just like when a club levels up, if you miss a collection period, the rewards should be auto-claimed and displayed to you after you log in.

I think this is GLU's way of ensuring that people remain active and engaged. I agree it can be disappointing as a player, but it's genius from a marketing standpoint as it requires frequent/extended engagement from the users.
