Reward Chances

Is it just me or do the chances of getting a good player on a reward/gift box a lot less than what is advertised? For prime or pow, etc the highest chances are for the prime or 5 star pow but I seem to always end up getting xp. Do the chances go down on boxes when they are a reward or gift? The only time I’ve gotten a prime or potw/potm is when I bought one with gold.

I think it goes in cycles. Some weeks I have terrible luck, but others I will get several boxes in a row with great players.
