Pitching Rotation

Hey guys, 
Quick question, do you guys know if your pitching rotation has any bearing on your matchup opponent? For example, are you more likely to get a more favorable matchup with your 4th/5th  starter? With my Ace, I always seem to be the underdog or evenly matched, but with my bottom of the rotation starters, I'm a huge favorite. I'm wondering because I placed Prime Kluber as my Ace so that I can use the Ice Wrap but can't seem to buy a win.
