What inactive players should I keep

So my inactive spots are filling up. I have a couple of primes I can't afford to level up and working towards going to gold someday. Should I just get rid of 5 star players and keep legends primes and special versions of players on my bench?

Yes keep ur primes and box players dump the 5 star players

I dump all primes i didnt have to boost for an event. They eat up to many resources and its cheaper and easier to jack up a 5 star skilled guying rating. 

Now if hes already boosted from an event, i try to save him for future use. I know primes are best, but without endless gold, evo, and xp, ill never get them to diamond.
