Criteria for keeping/trading players

I have a bunch of players some of which I could trade.  What is your criteria for keeping versus trading in?

I’m in gold now.  I keep 5* players only, as I need the xp.   Not enough resources to level everyone right now.  Started to trade some 5s in now though, since I’ve got some specialty players.  You’ll kick yourself a bit if they come up as bonus guys, but they’re usually low tier bonus guys

Unless the player has done really well for me or is a POTW or now a POTM, I always trade them in for the XP especially if they’re below 5 star players
