It's a better game for people who play it casually. But if you spend $ on this start saving, you guys are going to be paying a lot of money 😂. 5 separate times. All players can now be Bronze-Diamond given they are good enough to reach diamond. So no matter who you get early he is still a bronze. Then needs to be upgraded which is ever more expensive. To upgrade my Mike Trout from bronze to diamond it would cost like 2500 players traded in. If you play it casually and don't care about the TIER SIX LEADERBOARD!!! Your going to love the new version because you start with really good players that are much easier to get. But upgrading them to fly through tiers is almost impossible.
No more trading players, instead you trade them in for XP. The XP combined with cash upgrades a player. They level 1-10 and then a final upgrade from Bronze to Silver and so on called Evolves. Thank Pokemon for that. Once silver the amount of XP required and cash is much higher meaning it will take other silvers to be traded in for him to reach Gold. A player will give a bit more XP depending on his Top level. So a bronze with Diamond potential will give you more then a bronze with Platinum. So you probably want to use the ****py players that won't level high for the first while, and as tough as it is trade in the players with huge potential to get a lot more XP you can use on one single player you will likely keep forever. Yoenis Cespedas and Albert Pujoels are basically given to you so you could continue to trade in to level them up, doing too many at once is a waste because and regular 2 star silver is better than 5 star bronze so level up all you want the first player you get in the next tier is going to be the best player on your team due to that fact he starts at gold or platinum. And NO it's is not possible to get a gold or platinum or diamond or even silver at the start. Every tier has restrictions on card level.
