Looking at so many forums today, there seems to be a common theme. GLU does not put near enough effort into fixing problems, before creating new ones. The Video problems are crazy, and the excuse is that they take time. It is happening again, this week, with WOH, in the late stages. A similar scenario occurs when on CVC and trying to Video boost, it
locks up and you lose the entry all together. There are far too many
instances of losing at almost scripted moments. Spending money doesn't
seem to help. I have spent quite a bit, and my team seems to get worse
for it. Now, Season play is kicking my butt (in last place with a team that is minimum 10,000 strength higher than any other team in season play). But only because I am
willing to spend money, (is my guess), because I need 450 EVO to level
players into platinum, and need Prime XP for the others. By keeping me
away from the post season play for last three seasons, it ensures I
can't level up without spending real money. I am ready to delete the
app and just start over with a new team. I could probably do quite well
without spending a dime if I just kept it at a low bronze level. Spending money should improve your game, not frustrate you into wanting to dump it. Do you realize that to evolve a player to platinum, you would have to buy a minimum of FOUR evo boxes,( if you were lucky enough to get the top prize three of the four times). That's ridiculous. So leveling up ONE player costs you a minimum of 1300 gold. Now, this is the best case scenario. That scenario costs around $20.00. Realistically, your looking closer to 7 evo boxes, plus the 100 gold, which is 2200 gold, again, for ONE player. That's around $25.00. And then there's Prime XP...smdh, and don't even start me down the road on Legend XP...

I can't even tell you of how many players that I maxed in gold for just one event simply because they needed blue XP which I have plenty of, as does everyone else, and figured I could help my club. And now that I want to go platinum I can't because I am short on EVO and wish that I hadn't wasted that on the one day players.
Game designers are smart so pretty much every little dime you spend today means you have to spend even more tomorrow. Nothing wrong about that of course as companies are supposed to be profitable. It is on us to become more educated consumers and figure out how to spend less and get more out of it.
Not bragging, I know there's many better, just promise, it can be done. You have to 1) Resist temptation, and 2) Look for the most efficient and productive ways to improve. That's honestly it.
Granted, I don't know what the game is going to look like when '19 debuts, if they're going to go back to Slugfest only on Wednesday or continue with the Royale. But even if they do, I can't imagine they'll hand out Legend sluggers from the get-go, so cycling Slugfest for Prime XP should get easier again.
There's even so many things that I did wrong that I wish I had done differently and want to learn from. Example -- boosting guys for pointless boosts like prime events. I blew so many resources boosting guys like that, and now I look back and think, "Why did I do that? That was dumb." But at the time I had hundreds of thousands of Prime XP, so I didn't care.
i would also like to add that as a guy who has played this game for 5 years, club hopping is a valuable learning tool. Too many guys find a decent club and camp in it. There are tricks to this game and clubs that can finish first daily with minimal effort. If u don’t go find them then you will never learn! I’m not suggesting you be a habitual hopper but spend the first few months moving around, spend a week in a club and move to a better one. When you find one that makes you say, “what the heck, wish I knew that!”, then u found home.
When the playoffs start, have your worst pitcher at the ready and then ice wrap. I have had much more success through all of these methods.
