Totally agree @Mattattack. At first I used to think that where I tapped on the screen made a difference as to whether I got a hit. I would try to strategically place my thumb right in front of the plate thinking I would be making contact on the bat’s sweet spot and increase my chance of getting a hit (LOL). I’d also add…
Agreed @TyroneEastwood. My 520 LL Rendon and 550 LL Realmuto (both with double blowout skills) have two of the highest batting averages on my team and they outperform all but 1 of my ATGs and 580 players. The LL Verlander has also been a shutout/perfect game beast. I’ve liked the Mon-Thurs LL players the best since they…
@ShoveItUpYoenis2 I had a bad experience too, but not as bad as yours. First box pulled Lemon. Then had 6 straight Evo pulls and finally pulled Percival on the 8th box.
At this point in the season, using BXP 390 position players can be detrimental to a lineup. I would stay away from leveling them. They do have value as subs when trying to complete a bonus set.
@ShoveItUpYoenis2 Funny, I was just thinking the same. A 580 or 600 Mariano Rivera with the double late innings skill is the player I’d want the most. Having a strong closer was key for me in my journey to Diamond.
Agreed. A few months ago I thought the catcher would be the toughest position to fill. Then they released switch-hitting 540 Posada and Yogi. Now I’m convinced second base is the toughest position to fill, so finding a keeper at 2B would be ideal. I’m hoping Glu releases a Legend switch-hitting Carlos Baerga or Roberto…
@eman0023 No, it’s not crazy. That’s how I leveled Hoffman without much LXP reserves. I had a bunch of gold and little LXP, so I leveled Hoffman to D4, then pulled him enough to get him to D10. If you have enough gold, it’s worth the try, especially since you get decent LXP, PXP, and Evo if you don’t pull him. Also, if I…
Not really. There’s been at least 3-4 Legend Alan Trammells, but with the switch-hitting and lefty shortstops, Trammell hasn’t been a keeper. The Miguel Cabrera’s have not been too appealing either.
Agreed @DFBB. I’ve had hundreds of rounds vs. Babe and others at 6.10 using a D10 player with 20/20 skills and 80g boost, and still I’ve never hit a homerun. Great job @slafrance2!
I remember asking this severalmonths ago when I had no clue what “cycle”meant. I got about a dozen sarcastic responses before someone finally answered the question.
Wow, you really brought back memories with Earl Weaver Baseball. One of the things that made it great was it’s one of the only baseball games ever where someone could create their own ballpark. I always wished more baseball games had that ballpark creation option.
@jalapenocubbies I’m intrigued by your comment. So far, the only prevalent cheating scheme I was aware of was auto tapper, which I learned about a few weeks ago. It’s disappointing to think that other cheating schemes are utilized. To your knowledge, what other cheating schemes are being exploited?
The #1 failure is the allowance and tolerance of the cheaters who use auto tap. It’s impossible to compete with them. I know folks who were called out for auto tapping (cheating), and then were back just a few days later doing the same thing again.
