Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

What do you feel is the easiest launch/shift car? How bout the hardest launcher/shifter?

So far I've found the Scion FR-S to be the easiest and the Evo VIII the hardest.

    Easiest car is the stock Civic Si lol JK .. The easiest is GTS Viper S class the hardest is Pagani Huayra ..

    Challenger srt8 is a good launcher in my opinion

    There are a lot of cars that are easy to launch but my favorite is probably the ZR1. That car is very easy to drive. Easier than the Viper GTS in my opinion. If I had to pick a hardest launching car it would probably be the Ford Falcon R Class. Getting a perfect launch with a low rt isn't necessarily that hard in it but what makes it so difficult is as soon as you launch, first gear is already red. Fastest first gear car I've ever seen in the game. Even faster than the Huayra first gear. It took me a lot of gems and half a day of practice to get used to the launch-1st gear speed.

    I think the A class camaro is the easiest to launch and the BMW c class is my hardest

    Yeah, C Class BMW sucks to launch. I hate that car.

    The Ford GT is one of the easier cars to launch and shift. Very smooth. The Scion TC GT Spec is very easy to drive as well but we shall see what it feels like once it's fully upgraded..

    Hey Venom, thanks for the heads up on the Viper. I gots me a GTS-R and I have that thing as light as I can get it with a totally stock motor. What a blast out of the chute! Holy Cow.
