Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Tuning questions

Ok, so I have seen the excel file for best purchases but do not believe that will, get you the best tune overall if I understand it correctly. When buying parts, do they work off flat numbers or some function of other parts installed? Example does a stage 2 intake always give the same stats regardless if I am stage 2 everywhere else or if the intake is the first part upgraded to 1 then 2. Ideally trying to figure out how to put some sort of web app tuner together that will get you the best power/wt ratio etc

Its always power to wight ratio. If a part is better than your current cars p/w ratio then your car will be better.

Right, but what I was after is if adding stage 2 intake does that always add the same amount of power, or does it depend on what other mods are installed as in the real world

I dont belive its dependent. Like irl adding intake and exhaust is a synergy.

If im understanding correctly I been wondering the same thing... All stage 2 upgrades and XX pwr.. Pro 3 of one upgrade makes lower power weight ratio... Pro 2 of another is lower.. If I do one of the pro upgrades.. Will the other still have a lower pwr or could it possibly change.. If that makes sense

Just pick the part with the highest power to wieght ratio. Its always the best part

One thing though, is that a Stage 2 part might have a bad P:W ratio, and the Pro upgrade might have a good P:W ratio, but you obviously need to get the S2 part before you can get the pro part.
