Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Some of y'all make me sick.

Now, you know how I feel about the whole 'pay for tunes' thing. In my opinon, it's a pretty messed up SITUATION. I'm not taking shots at everyone in this section, but some of you are going overboard with your prices for your 'tune,' that you made most likely using tips I gave away for free in my guide. And then, some of your tunes aren't even that GOOD. Some of you are selling BAD tunes to players.

PIGP3N (one of the better RR players,) made a launch tutorial video. Getting a perfect launch will help you win more races than having a good tune will. A good tune is nothing without a good launch. And guess what, he did it for FREE. He didn't charge a CENT to teach you how to perfect launch (detrimental to winning big races.)

I made a guide for FREE with virtually EVERYTHING you need. No one has given me anything for that besides 'thanks,' and I haven't asked for anything. So before you talk about how bad scammers are, why don't you look at yourself before you charge someone big money for tunes. That's part of the reason ther ARE so many scammers/cheats/hacks/etc....no sense of community.

Amen to that Shin! People have some crazy threads here hitting people up for money. It's kinda embarrassing some of the prices I see. Like seriously you're that broke or really it takes so much of your time where you have to take someone's arm and leg

well said. can i get that guide tho?
  • Fortuna3Fortuna3 Junior Member Registered Users 37 Posts
Very well put. That's why I like to take 1 car at a time, buy every possible part and try every combo I can til I get that perfect tune. I get more of an accomplished feeling out of the game that way, and it prevents another opportunity for me to get scammed. I've found a couple tunes made from someone else and they were good but I always seem to squeeze a little more out when I put my own "touch" on the tune. I'm like thank god I didn't pay for this lol

Ok so you put any part on a civic type R and I will do the research and math and "tune" mine. Wanna pink. So funny it's a game and tune is a game term.

U said it brken123.......... I laugh at so many ppl claiming they tuned they're car. I work for chevy rave team and if this is all I had to do and work with we'd never lose a race. But I do love this game. Lmao. Hats off to you

-Races in real life. *points to avatar*

I really am using the term in reference to this game. I mean sure it'd be cool if we had options for ignition timing, AFR, etc. but thats besides the point.
