Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.
However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.
On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.
In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

I made a new friend today. He whose name will not be mentioned has received a car none of us have access to. The 2001 Subaru WRC Impreza A Class Rally car is coming guys. And if anyone from cie sees this please she's some light on it please. I am majorly interested in anything subaru and AWD. The player had told me he had a turf reward car disappear from his garage one day, he wrote and email to cie, weeks later cie gave him this UNATTAINABLE AWESOME Subaru WRC Rally car along with some gems and cash. Now since it was given to replace a turf car I'm under the impression it will have to be a turf reward and not a showroom car. If it is a showroom car cie wouldn't ever give it to replace a turf car, RIGHT?! As well, the bright yellow Subaru wrc rally graphics on the sides of this widebody ver 7 GDA bugeye just hits the mark of GENUINE SUBARU RALLY SOLBERG goodness. It strikes a chord inside me. I bleed these Imprezas. I own a pretty quick one myself. I love them. So cie, please let us know right here, when you can... When are we gonna get this amazing rally car, is it going to be a turf reward or a showroom gem purchase? And last question... Will there be more rally cars to come like the LanEvo rally spec and the Ford Escort Cosworth Rally car, or even the newer stuff like the brightly colored Ford Fiesta the Ken Block mysteriously pilots as if he was part of the vehicle. This is a big deal for me and for some of my rally lifeblood breatherin. We need answers. Ready, GO!
