Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.
However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.
On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.
In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.
When are you going to stop the exploiters?
Can't even F'ing tune cars anymore without a maxxed out Mclaren jacking you for cred. I have no problems with car trading, but a guy challenge me with a maxxed out car, will get reported, if not in the right lobby

Just so you know, i also put the player on blast in the chat as a cheater, so the lower levels know who to avoid. That usually gets me blocked from playing, constant challenges. Oh well, all i ever do in the public lobby, is race the bots for tuning anyways. lets me know i'm doing the right thing
I will end this, by saying to GLU/CIE. If this is intended, I'll stop what i'm doing and let the game die. If this is working as intended i'll just stop the public lobby posting of the predators and exposing them. Till then, expect plenty of tickets and blasts on chat, warning everyone
Since yall are in the know whats the point of intentionally losing? I might not be the sharpest, but I know when I blow a launch only to fly by my opponent at the end of the track when his car is a 1665 and mine is a 1650 somethings going on.
1. There are no easy wins
2. if something is too good to be true, than it probably is.
3. Your opponent thinks she/he can beat you
4. Why would a D class car owner pink an R class
5. Like in real Drag Racing, you never know whats under the hood.
6. Do not underestimate the competitive nature of other human beings.
Soon to be Ex-Carbonated Community Manager
I don't have a problem losing 1-500 per race just to have fun, but nothing more.
I actually have three rules, for playing this game
#1. Never pink outside the turf or showdown. There you get a fair Level race, except for GNX's
#2. Only pink, when you absolutely know your car, the approximate times in the lobby and what the other car is capable of.
#3. Only pink with boosts, you have to assume the other guy is using them.
So far those three rules have got me through this game.
Once again, thank you for chiming in. This thread can be closed now
