Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

scammer alert!!!!!!! you have to read this!!

Hey guys so a random guy in a lobby adds me as a friend and asks to pinks and i check his weight and torque and i was much lighter and with much more torque. I told him yea, i was in a RWB Rotana and he was in a Bmw z4 gt3. He got 7.2 secs as he beat me by a lot. I was very fustrated and when i went to my friends list, he wasn't there. He only had 4 cars on his account when i checked him the first time. His IGN was ORTIZ 1020. When i checked "recently raced", i clicked on him and his IGN changed to ORTIZ1020. The space between the name and number dissapeared. Also, he had over 100 cars and they were all nice cars like nismos, furais, rotanas, and turf cars. He is on team " The Intoxicated." I have no idea how he did this but BEWARE. What do you guys think I should do?

I had the same thing happen to me with someone else. I was in a maxed 8.6 running srt8 and he was in a what showed stock scion frs r spec. Then after i lost to him be a lot i found him on my friends list and somehow the spec had jumped to maxed torque and lowest weight from the last time i checked him. I think it is a new hack or something of the nature. He also messaged me before the race asking me to pinks.

These guys have two accounts. They have slight differences. They talk to you on one then switch to the faster car in the other account when they actually race. It's the old bait and switch.

Yep, what Forrest said. One account will have a small amount of cars so that you can easily find the specs on their bait car. Then they bring in an account with a similar name, and an identical looking car with much higher specs. If you're going to pink in multiplayer, assume they are maxed and boosted. Much safer to pink in turf/showdown. Still have to beware of hackers and glitchers.
