Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.
However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.
On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.
In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

So I've had my Ford GT-R Limited since December and I love the looks plus the engine on this car. However I've been having a problem with this car. When I try to challenge someone it takes forever for him to receive the request. It really pisses me off because I spent money on this car. The car costs 2000 gems. I know some of you guys are going to say it's because I have a bad connection but it's not that. All of the other cars I own I'm able to challenge someone just fine but with my Ford GT-R Limited which was only available for a limited time it takes me so damn long just to try and challenge someone. If it was because of my connection then this would happen for all of my cars. I seem to have a better chance to race against players with higher street credit or driving an R Class car or higher but the same still happens.
Another thing I want to point out is before I would get a message saying the player is busy when he's not doing anything. However after they added the new Acura that seems to be gone, but I still have problems with the GT-R. The problem still doesn't exist with my other cars. I don't understand how a problem like this can only happen for one specific car where it's like as if I have a connection that is as slow as a turtle. Please if anyone at Glu is reading this, please fix this!
