Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Earlier in the month I had lost several cars to the zero time out glitch, I'm talking 10 cars or more. So I took your advice directly after losing a civic SI and sent all the info to customer service. Here is the reply I got today: Hello, Thank you for contacting Racing Rivals support. Time out or DNF results are caused by your device not sending race results in a timely manner to the server. When this occurs the server has to use a simulated time for your car. Because of this it is an automatic loss no matter what you saw on your device. While we do our best to make sure our servers are running optimally, sometimes latency and connection issues can be caused by a variety of reasons outside of our control. Generally if the issue is on the game server it affects all players so it is still a fair race. Signal strength alone is only an indicator of how strong the signal is between your device and the network you are on. After that your network bandwidth and speed can have various performance statuses depending on factors such as your location, network traffic in your area and how the resources of your device are being used. Here are some suggestions to help reduce latency on your end. 1. Reduce the number of Applications running on your iDevice 2. Try and play from a spot where your signal is strongest 3. Reduce location movement (i.e. Walking around, playing while in a moving vehicle) 4. Make sure the antenna on your device is unobstructed 5. Make sure you are using the latest version of the App (Updates can be made through the app store) 6. Try closing the Racing Rivals app down completely and then restart launch it Obviously there is not much either you or we can do if there happens to be latency across the internet but those steps can help ensure your device side is optimal. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Regards, Racing Rivals Support On Thu, 17 Jul 2014 13:39:22 -0700, XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Username:Goldtop1955 Today I entered a race using my Civic SI and was challenged to pink. I accepted but when the timer hit zero, it just sat there. I waited 10 minutes then logged off and then when I came back my car was gone. According to RR LUTZ, you can issue me a replacement. Mine was maxed, so please don't send me a stock SI. Game Center name: XXXXXXXX In Game Name: Goldtop1955 Thank you, Goldie Sent from my iPad So my question is, why did you say turn in the info for a replacement and then customer service sends out a generic form letter??

I'm afraid I'm going to get a response similar to this as well. I sent one yesterday because I lost two cars when my app crashed midway (this is Android btw) during the last turf event.

I'm really hoping that I'll actually be refunded my cars when they respond in about two weeks or more.

    Shame on Cie Games' support.

One of the worst customer support systems out there. Maybe if they mimicked the support system over at Mojang or Supercell, responses wouldn't be useless, generic, and late.

Google play will refund you money spent on the game. Cei games doesnt care about making it right with honest customers, they are more concerned about preventing liars from getting anything. Google play will also tell you where to make complaints, and if enough people complain google will contact their devlopers about not fixing the issues and not giving people what they pay for. I know this because ive recieved a large refund after recieving a letter like yours.
