Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Friends list issue

Having a problem accessing my friends list. It is now maxed at 200 but when I try to just open the list (via the little 3person icon), the game thinks I'm trying to add a friend and goes to the " cannot add friend" screen. The only two options are to reload which reboots the app or retry which only brings up the same screen. Am I missing something? Is there a way to delete friends from another screen? If an admin reads this can you just delete all my friends please. Thanks

    I keep finding it fixing itself. But I'm pretty sure it is because someone deletes me to bring me to 199

    That's what I've been doing, sometimes I ask a teammate to delete me so i can go in and delete others.

    maybe lutzberg can jump in here but we are looking at re-designing our friends system to make it easier to delete/manage friends

    I have the same problem when I reach 200. I am on a ipad mini. My simple solution is; ask someone to delete you, than delete atleast 5 people. Or if you are fast enough, you can keep taping retry, like fast, and in those split mili secs you can click X or whatever you need, to get out of the friends list. It saves restarting your game and going through that process. I hope this gets solved, my friend says it doesn't happen on his iphone 5.
