Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

How about a reduced damage practice track and a few bugs I've seen on the PC

I would like to see a practice track with 0 or reduced damage. It would be really nice for tuning and getting use to the launch and shift points of different car while changing for turf and showdown. It would be really cool if you could race a recording of yourself and your fastest time in that car in that lobby. Not only would it save us newer guys with fewer cars from damaging our only car before going into an event, but it would really help speed up tuning. Not having to wait for someone to let you race them.

While playing on the on facebook on a PC the scaling on the dyno charts if off. While launching the T sometimes really looks like a J on the launch button and it would be nice if we could keep the launch letter to the left half of the key board.

I would really like to hear back about the practice track. I see it as something that would be very valuable and the few times I have mentioned it people agreed.

Practice track would be awesome. Nothing worse than trying to test tune and always getting pinked

A practice track where you only race against the clock would be the best thing ever!

Unfortunately, I doubt the dev team even gives a damn about our wants & needs..

It takes them weeks, if not months to answer a damn customer service email, yet alone to actually improve the game for us..

Agreed! While the Bots are great to practice against, it's still painful when trying to learn and practice technique, timing, and various tune tweaks when you have a lot of upgrades. After just 5 or 6 races, your car can be in need of repair, and with the higher end cars, the wait time can be extreme! I can race my Scion FR-S R-Spec 5 times, then have to wait something like 16 hours to repair it. Watching 16 videos to speed that up can take 20 minutes or more when factoring in load times, and even longer when you wait a minute or more just to get the "There are no more videos at this time, try again later" messages. And when timing can come down to thousandths of a second, just FINDING the right timing can take a bunch of tries, let alone practicing to become consistent!
