Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Guide to avoiding scamming

May add to this later but, Figured I would share some guidelines to help avoid a scam. 1st and foremost don't trade sell or pink and you will never have a problem. Ok trades. Just be careful, trade with teammates and go back to old trade partners. Ask for vouchers can help. When I trade with an unknown I always insist that they go first. No deal = no deal. The only time I ever agreed I had the faster car and ended up taking his first anyway. After all I know I am good on my word for the deal. If it is a sale it is always cash first. The easiest way to transfer cash is with raises and chickens. If I don't trust the other guy I make sure my car is way faster. If u don't they could steal your money and your car. If this isn't an option like dealing for a Stella. I do the opposite. I'll go in room with my cheapest slowest car. I can't really cry if I lose a civic si to a scammer. If it's too good to be true it probably a scammer. Examples: Anyone want a free car? Last person that asked me that stole someone's car after I said no thanks bro. Sandbagging and entering low rooms with fast cars is common but a long time friend once told me never pink up in class. This way you know you are either better or on same playing field. As the game says you don't know what's under the hood so never underestimate your opponent.
