Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Hey Racers, These past few days we've experienced some issues with the game and we apologize.

Down Time

First of all, on Saturday, April 18th we experienced some technical issues which caused the game to be down for a substantial period of time. Our team was working all day to try and reslve the matter, unfortunately it did take some time to address. We are currently working on diagnosing what happened so that we can prevent it from happening again. As an apology we will be awarding every account that was active at the time, some free gems.

The Renault 5 Turbo Race Edition

We recently released the Renault 5 into mystery crates. The initial wave of cars were released as B class cars. Unfortunately this was unintentional. These cars are supposed to be A class cars. This will be resolved shortly. Unfortunately, this means that when the car is properly classed, the cost of upgrades will reflect those of an A class car rather than a B class car. Again, we apologize for the mistake.

The Mustang GT

Lastly, last week we put up the Mustang GT on sale, unfortunately the advertised price was incorrect. We will be honoring the advertised price. So for those that purchased the car during the sale period, we will be awarding 15 gems, which was the difference.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding. We apologize for any inconvenience, these issues may have caused.
