Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

So been racing pinks and experiencing the normal light lag cheats

But over turf I had a few people ( same ones ) who I pinked with made my car run 1.0sec slower but thought must be server blah blah blah and took the loss for what it is

Now I been racing showdown and the same thing happened

Guy pinked me in 1668 and I nailed the launch and shifts on my viper gts r and won the race - then it said I lost and ran 8.001 when my car clearly runs much faster boosted and launched perfect etc

In the last turf I smoked a civic si and with supercharge I get around 9.96 and nailed launch and shift and clearly won the race and it said I ran 10.079

Is anyone else having this issue ? Or noticed it

I won't mention the other races but something clearly is nt right

    What you see in your perspective on the race is not necessarily THE actual perspective on a race. You need to see the replay for the objective perspective on a race. In races I lose, MOST of the time it looks like I get them out of the hole and then they end up passing me for the win. But when I watch the spectator replay, the other car beats me out of the hole and leads the entire race. Thus these differing perspectives may be part of the reason for your experiences.
