Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Lol what a joke.. I have 2 gigs of ram and Android 6.
Still can't play.. lag at drop,launch and shifts make it unplayable.
Even with graphix off and background apps off..

    Iphone is way smoother I get consistent good launches on my android not so much :(

    @Billenium shoot my iPad mini 2 barely runs the game anymore. Crashes on startup 8/10 times

    @BlitzChaos my iPad and my phone run csr2 with no problems what so ever.. csr2 is a much more graphic intensive game. But neither will run RR very well since 6.0

    @aubassplayer I can pretty much 150% guarantee they are still working on performance enhancements, it just takes time. They won't leave the game like this forever because the know as well as we do that if they did, the game would give on much longer

    @BlitzChaos True, as much I ashould I respect the devs for the hard work and late night hours they put into the game, I'm kinda dissapointed in how things are even after 2 months

    @BlitzChaos of the devs are working hard. No doubt.. but I can't help but feel left out in the cold because I don't have an $800 iPhone 7 or the new set $700 galaxy s7.. no I have a $400 Motorola that will steam 4k movies but won't play a game that you supposedly only need Android 4 and 1 gig of ram to play...seems like they out so much into the background graphix and the god awful global chat.. but didn't even think about actualbgame play...
