Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Beware: Scammers Making False Claims

I believe this is the new scheme for scamming. I have had various, random people add me in game, claiming they are interested in buying or trading. I had one incident yesterday where this fella claimed that he was legit, and listed a whole bunch of vouchers from here.. He obviously used the names of well known, legit buyers/sellers in hopes of me agreeing to do a deal with him.

I looked up his account, and funny enough I couldn't find a single legit vouch for him! He is also not listed or I should say, he hasn't even listed himself in the legit buyer/seller sticky in order to get a respectable rep. When I asked why he's not in the sticky, he couldn't even give me an answer....tsk tsk. To see what he's really about, I told him that if he wanted to do a deal, he'd have to get in a D class car, and make 3 separate payments to me. His response to me was, "Now you got me doubting you" LOL, trying to turn the tables on me, when I clearly am legit, and just started getting more and more vouches. I have only done right on here, with the people I've dealt with so far. I proceeded to delete him, and had a chuckle to myself at his futile attempt.

Moral of my post is, don't take anyone's word for granted. Especially new people on here with no rep. Always ask for vouches, better yet I'd recommend only dealing with ppl listed in the sticky. If someone calls the names of vouchers, then consult with said vouchers to confirm legitimacy.

Have a good day and thanks for reading!
