Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

I know there's issues with hackers and glitches, so this could be for the future. My brothers and I have talked it over, I think adding a Market for parts. Not like the one we have. Like in a real world track, you never know what a car you might be racing have installed. We've seen civics destroy other cars that you wouldn't expect to lose to the civic. When you check under the hood, that civic has a 'vette engine. This would make racing a lot more difficult, mostly for pinks, but it would be more realistic since if you ever do pinks in the real world, you never know what the other guy has. That's why it's a risk. For the market players can place parts from their cars into that market, for example, I place my corvette engine in the market, another player can buy it, and install it to their civic or anything. You end up with a civic going 7 or 8 seconds when it could just do 10 or 11 secs with their own parts. Each car should have its own sounds, the real sounds. (I know this has been mentioned) Again thank you racing rivals!

This has been discussed before it's called engine swaps the problem is... How would the class system work like if u threw a zr1 in a civic would it be D class or S class? Also that will bring in hackers to make there civics run 6.9 and just tell people they put a Stella engine in it when really they just hacked it

Yeah I see, just visualizing how it would operate is hard, making it is harder. But thats what it takes to make the best games, and this game can make it. I really hope this hacker issue ends, They're slowing down progress, stalling progress.
