Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

    I kind of dont agree with this at all and ill explain why. This is a free game, for fun. You should not want to buy cash from the game because that ruins the point of playing anyways. But if you choose to do so, that is the price if you are desperate. And there are desperate people out there im sure plenty purchase RRC from the game. Not everybody who plays goes on the forums and knows you can buy mils for 15$. But anyways, my point is its a free game, and ive currently.made 150$ off it having fun instead of paying, playing and no fun.

    I know i'm not gonna be fully agreed with, but this is their jobs, they have to make money someway so everything is gonna be overpriced. And as a computer coder who has made some smaller games, adding a trading system isn't a easy task, you have to add a whole new section of code to the game while adding other stuff to the previous code of the game, and when it does come out there will most likely be many bugs with it so even if it is added it will take a while to be perfect. And many players easily get turf points without spending money on gems by using rrc or trading cars, so there is a way around paying real money to get turf points. Gems do rule the game but that's what there supposed to do, cars in the garage that cost gems are more rare cars, which brings the economy up and adds a fundamental trading and exchange market to the game. And if you don't want to wait for you cars to finish upgrading then you'll have to spend gems or watch videos, there will never be a way around that. I do always hope that they add a trading system cause that would make everything way simpler, but you cannot demand they do these things cause they take time, a trading system wont be done in 24 hours yet a week or two. Most of these things wont get changed in the game cause the game makers still need to make money. Sorry to disagree, but i just want some common sense put into this forums "Revolt".
