Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

PC user arrow keys?

Why has the NOS button now an arrow key it was the same letter/number as the launch button? This is stupid, yall are trying your best to make it more and more complicated for us PC users. It was a lot simpler to just tap the launch button and NOS button with the same key. Now PC user cannot get a fast NOS launch when they have to hit the launch button and then go all the way across the keyboard to the ^ button. Was better before when launch and NOSed button were the same!!!

    I still use the mouse, to hit Nitrous. I wish people would stop using NOS as a word, Its a company name not what it is

    It was still a lot easier to just double tap what ever key that the launch was. Hope it will go back.

    Practice. Its similar to what we did in Legends so it was an easy adjustment 4 me

    Yes because the people who play on a pc, it makes it easier to get that nitrous launch like the people who play on ios and android. Hope they take these annoying arrow keys off. In my opinion it was way easier when the launch and nos key were the same.:(

    I used to like double tapping for nitrous, seems to put PC users at a disadvantage much more work then using your 2 thumbs on another device.

    You realize, with this new update that you can use your 4 arrow keys to launch to rev the engine, take off with whichever key the game set for you, and hit the nitrous with the up arrow key while shifting with the right arrow. If you can be precise enough, you can launch the car with nitrous at the same exact time if you put your finger on the bottom arrow to rev, and your other finger ready to hit the nitrous at the same exact time you're taking off with the assigned letter. Instead of double tapping the same letter and that can have a delay.

    Actually i use the same finger to rev and Nitrous, On awd's i can hold both the throttle and nitrous simultaniously
