However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.
On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.
In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Just seen another today VINMASTER ran a viper gts and hit 6.1
The last 3 tournament pinks events i have entered have all had at least one player using this hack. So it's out in the masses! Not just a couple ppl using it.
I highly suggest steering clear of tournament pinks untill this is sorted out.
I'm sure I'm not the only one either that has noticed ever since the introduction of tournament pinks its been over ran with hack after hack. Always a risk entering tournament. I've had a few good brackets but most the time your just donating your car to a hacker.
I will be the first one to slam your name in, friend you, and complement you on a good race if you win my car in a lagit race! I don't mind losing a car to another good player.
But i can not stand losing a car to a guy or girl that has to use a cheat or hack to win.
It would be awsome if there was a way for accounts to be scanned at boot up to determine if it was tampered with. And if it was automatically locked out.
I would love to be able to race with nothing but lagit ppl that don't have to cheat to win!
That would be fun!! These hackers are sucking the fun right out of the whole game for me.
But there is a diffrence between losing a car to a lagit player and losing a car to a cheater!
I think i speak for everyone when i say we know what we are getting into when we pink race.
The posts are about losing to hackers and cheaters in an unfair manner.
Not a bunch of ppl crying because they didn't know what they were getting into.

All of the above players have been using this hack in Tournaments. All running under 6 second times. Some as low as 4.5 seconds. I have screenshots to back all claims and have lost a number of top end cars to these jack asses. Avoid at all costs. If i'm told that these are "valid pink slip races" i will flip my lid as i am happy risking these cars to honest players who have an honest chance of beating me, but not people who have somehow abused the system to the point where no honest player can win.
Got two of my high end cars. Submitted a ticket after the first one A11MINE with screen shot proof. And i was told "Cars lost during pink slip race can not be returned for any reason."
They did however restore my account this one time giving me back my Zonda.
I sent a message back stating what i get from that is that they more or less allow these hacks. Asked if he was being prosecuted in any way. I assume not as it appears he is still out stealing cars! And i never got a response.
I since have not done any tournament pinks which sucks it was my favorite aspect of the game. Gets the blood pumping a bit. But one would have to be dumb to go in them now. Basically just donating your cars to hackers at this point.
I know they are looking into this and will fix it eventually but when a name runs threw on a ticket with proof of cheating i would think they would ban that user, or freeze there account immediately! To both avoid future head akes for them selves and other players!?!
I may just have glu mobiles process twisted.
Perhaps they are letting him be so they can go in and catch them in the act??..... not sure.
Also would be awsome if they would let us know when it might be safe to go back in and partake in some good clean pinks throw downs again!

I really think they just dont care what happens to people who play this game. I kind of wonder if they made the hack themselves to siphon back cars.
I also like how someone on facebook called it profiteering.
Never race tournaments.
And even then people still using glitches to get both super charger and turbo installed which works even outside tournaments.
Combine that with their autolaunch bs and legit racing is pretty much gone.
I much prefered the days where i only had to worry about being cheated by lobby jumpers or double accounts..at least then smart intuition could protect you to some extent.

And than i ask if the guy cheating was being prosecuted or looked into in any way!? No response to that.
I am not the guy that has the sore loser glitch. If i lose a car to a lagit good race i move on. I dont cry begging for my car back or anything like that.
Yes i know i was in a pinks event and am at risk of losing my car. But as we all would exspect losing our cars in a lagit manner. When i lose to a stella that beats the world record by about .25 second i know there is an issue. Than i turn to glu for help!
When they in turn tell me sorry you pinked your car nothing we can do... Makes me want to bacome a low life hacker and go out and regain my own goods and than some. Since they can't seem to break the rules twards the rule breakers! All in All its BS!
