I'd say he is. He's a Legend-caliber version of RA Dickey with a wicked knuckleball. I rotate him in and out of my lineup with Nolan Ryan and Vida Blue, and currently Niekro has the lowest ERA of those three.

No. I was thinking the same thing.... I've opened 4 signature players over the weekend and haven't opened a single legend yet. The odds seem to be worse for a signature player than they were for legends in the legend boxes, and trying to get a legend from the signature box seems **** near impossible.

You're exactly right.... I use my blue cash when I run out of bonus games for the Thursday event, or leagues and tournaments if I end up playing those days. Other than that it's useless... I have something like 10 million unused. If you're bored you can play some Cash Derbys...
