Option to remove equipment upgrades and use them on other characters

Please let us have this option. Upgrading characters is really expensive and it really sucks upgrading a character only to find that you don’t like him/her or obtain a new character that completely replaces the character you spend a lot of time and money upgrading. Please provide a way to remove upgrades and give them to another.
maybe make it cost money to remove upgrades or when removing it you get a little less, but you should be able to get at least something.
