Sven 'Assists' Beacon of Light by attacking it

I've noticed a bug happening when I play Sven and Calhoun on the same team. When the Beacon of Light that Calhoun sends out takes its turn, and renews its Taunt, Sven will attack it if he triggers to Assist. This can be a problem, especially when it has Reflect, as they both end up damaged.
