I've been nominated 6 times and I won 4 out of the 6. Each time I had received 5 stars on the movie.

    Yes, it's believed to be random. Just a case of doing longer projects, getting 4/5 stars and getting the questions asked right, to be in with the best chance. Keep going! You'll win a Star Award soon enough! :)
