Agent not calling

Help, I am on level 20 and Max stop calling me. I figure it was a glitch so I started dating to level up to 21. Max keeps calling me to tell me I need to land a role in a drama, fantasy, etc... But he never calls to give me any roles. Arnie, Charlene, and max have all disappear from their offices. What should I do?

I made a post in there about this. I found out that shutting the app down competely solves it. Not only going to the home screen (I'm on an iPad) but shutting it completely down made him call as soon as I open it again.
