Sending a gift to a date

I have the quest to send a gift to someone I'm dating. Tried sending it while on the date. I also tried sending a gift while not in the date, she was in the apartment.

Keep getting an error message. Now I can't complete the quest.

I've randomly tried to send gifts before but they've never gotten through.

Is the system broken? Or just mine?

Gifting system is very glitchy and broken.

Gifting your date however can be done anywhere. But this glitch has happened to others so you are not alone. :0

I literally just got back with my ex who I had to use starpoints for... took him on two dates in a row then gave him a gift and straight away he broke up with me... wtf?
