Backup account/Login to existing account

Has anyone been able to accomplish the login to existing account from the settings/backup account feature/login to existing account??  Every time I try it says invalid and then when I say forgot password it’s telling me the email isn’t valid.  I know for a fact it’s valid bc I looked right back to the 18 version and the backup email is alive and well, and exactly what I put in.  Do we have to back it up separately for TSB 19?  Since everything rolled over through GameCenter and GooglePlay, I’m guessing each version gets backed up separately via email.  Can anyone confirm?

Reread some info on the old forums and realized each version is to be backed up and doesn’t roll over.  Just create a new login for backing up with the same email incase anyone else is having the same problem.
