Sick of Slugfest lag

Why does Slugfest lag so much.  I waste gold because I click the play button more than 1 time and it unlocks someone I already used and is not suited for the spot they have been selected.   It happens all the time.  I am ready to quit the game.

Man, I hate that it's still an issue. I assume you're android because things are smooth on Ios. The lag is noticable in WoH and when attempting to sim games too, but it's downright terrible in SF. Sorry @ReadingFightingPhils.

I HATE SLUGFEST!  I'm Gold and have My Legend at G10 and vs. Trout at 5.10 he consistently hits 6,000 to 6,200 feet.  I can't beat him even when I'm capped.  The only time he ever hits in the 5,400 range is if the game lags and I miss an early pitch and of course I would have beaten him if I went 10-10.  I feel like Glu is laughing at me.  0-10 at 5.10!  AHHHHHHHHH!
