What’s your batting strategy?

This is something I’ve been curious about since I started playing the game about a month ago: What’s the best approach to hitting?
Interested to get everyone’s take on their strategy when in the batters box.
Me? I aim for the opposite field gaps and in a perfect world only hit fastballs down the middle when deep in the count. I’ll take on 2-0, 2-1, 3-0, and 3-1 counts even when I know it’s coming down the middle because it FEELS like the 3-2 fastball is the one with which I can do the most damage.
Most of my home runs are to the opposite field and I rarely pull the ball. At most, i may pull into a power alley but I hit far more dingers down the opposite field line in comparison.
Also, I’ve found my approach, when facing a guy throwing hard, gets me a lot of oppo field hits that beat the shift. All that said, while it works for me most of the time, all bets are off when facing Prime De Grom against whom I just close my eyes and pray to the glu gods for any contact.
