Benefits of an inactive club for CVC and an active club for events

Currently I’m in a gold club that is very inactive , because of this I win quite a few CvC boxes during seasons unless we run into a good club ( since I’m the only one scoring and I only score what I need , doesn’t happen a ton ) just transitioned to gold myself and at 68k strength and this past Monday I was able to cycle classic with ease. I’ve been debating staying in this club for all the free boxes ( I spend some money but not a ton ) or if it is much more beneficial to join an active club.
