I'm a Wim Wenders fan though I've only really seen Wings of Desire and Paris, Texas.
It was actually season 2 of Dark on Netflix I was trying to watch. I was doing myself a huge disservice not paying attention so I just turned it off. I was looking forward to it since finishing season 1.
I went Diamond a week ago and have cycle D6 3 times now, and about 300 games from another cycle. I honestly regret leaving Gold tier 3 weeks ago. Bad timing maybe, but it's just not worth keeping up with resources for me at this point. I'm just burned out from playing BG/TG. Idk how much longer I can keep going.
Prior to going Diamond, I'd hit the double gold vids hard on weekends. And casually get 1-2k a day during the week. Usually had a nice 80k gold reserve. Rarely buy boxes since I was dominating cvc in my club, which was a huge source of PxP for me. It just blows my mind that staying Silver or Gold is so much better for CVC, Season, general resources, etc.
I wish I could just start over, but the thought of wasting all of that time would seriously put me off all together.
For me and if I had an Android I’d feel differently but when I can play 4-5 games a minute, and getting other residual resources like exp from draft picks and occasional achievement gold though I’m basically all out of that now. I’ve done the video grind and while you can do it while doing other stuff the games at this point are the same. Losing a bonus/tourney game is a rare occurrence now and really haven’t paid attention to a score or anything too heavily in a while. Without field pass it is more taps which is the downside but can still get more gold faster than watching even double gold videos unless the videos are less than 15 seconds which these days seem to be uncommon. Maybe I need to talk about lawyers and digit more so my phone directs me to those ads more often I guess lol.
When gold is the sole objective, cycling d6 is definitely more lucrative. Both are way more of a job than enjoying the game, though. At least for me, that is.

If I started over from scratch at this point in the season I think I’d just quit. On the one hand I can appreciate trying to find a way to enjoy the game again, on the other.........on the other, I’d just quit if this weren’t fun anymore rather than trying to make lemonade with lemons.
Important question: Has anyone ever downloaded a game or app they saw while grinding for gold? Second question: favorite video?
Several downloads.....don’t watch the videos. When the images stop moving out of the corner of my eye I swipe a couple times then back to whatever I’m actually doing.
I disagreed with the bonus game grind....you have to be consciously involved when tapping BGs....I can run vids while doing my computer work on the job and is painless, doesn’t require much attention and like I said, can be done while I’m being productive doing something else.
Tourney's so far are not fun. The UI lacks considerably. When you start the tournament you remain within the tourney interface but after each game you're dumped back to main screen. Maybe this is intentional, I don't know but you should remain within tourney to finish it up. Would shave much time off. I haven't played many prior to diamond so not sure what it's like during Royale but it can't be better and is probably worse.
Edit: It is slightly better when not in a club. Under 'Your turn' on main I usually have to scroll to the right to get to tourney but without button to level club there's no need to scroll. If I had no draft picks it would be in center of screen.
@bigvivec sounds like you need to work on your bonus game skills, pal 😉 to your point about quitting vs starting over, I totally get that. It's actually been pretty easy, though. I have 12 capped primes and one capped legend so far lol, that would have taken me ages in diamond to do 🤷🏻♂️ i think the main thing for me is I don't feel the need to invest a grip of time into the game, I can just play at my leisure and be fine 😊 plus, I wanted to play some slugfest

@retirepujols this not the case anymore. I tested it out and you get the gloves now even when not in a club.
I’m confused....you earn gloves,balls, helmets regardless of whether or not you’re in a club You just can’t see how much you have until you join a club. Am I missing something?
A couple of weeks ago @dkarski87 and I were talking about bonus game lag during events, and I suggested trying to play them outside of a club. He reported back that he wasn't earning gloves while doing that, so I checked it out and had the same issue. The bonus game counted toward my wins, but I didn't earn the 40 gloves for it.

So, I've got my bronze team up to 44.5k ts so far, with very very little invested in players skills. I was absolutely unable to cycle yesterday 😂 I spent maybe a total of 2 hours trying, and I believe the farthest I got was 4.6 on classic. 🤷🏻♂️

I can’t. I watch vids while I work and BGs take too much conscious attention. Too many taps and too few spaces in between to get some keystrokes in. Can do while browsing porn but that’s a different ball of .......wax.....

@UltimateWarrior I messed with warm up a little bit, but similar to classic I lost somewhere around 4.6 🤷🏻♂️ and @bigvivec you should definitely try it out with that alt team!
