Overboost?

I've heard some people talking about overboosting on WOH like it's a bad thing. Doesn't seem to be the case for me - thoughts on others' experiences?

    I'm with you. I don't believe you'll hurt your chances if you boost too much.
    If you're not having fun, you're losing.

    In my experience, I tend to do worse with the live boost (except in CVC) and also with the 80 gold boost.
    I know it doesn't make any sense, but usually when auto-playing in WOH I do way better when no boost is used at all. Still, for the last round in each level (5.10 or 6.10) I boost at least the free one, sometimes the 40 gold, just in case, but I have won without frequently, while I have never won using the 80 gold boost.
    Again, that doesn't make any sense and could be just a coincidence, but with GLU's mysteries surrounding boosts and skills activation/deactivation, who knows.

    If I boost I 80boost....no f-ing around if I’m in doubt.
