Weekends seem to be worse this is the first time this week I have had the disappearing mystery boxes. I think it must be a overload of people opening boxes at same time??? Cuz this happened right after cvc ended and I opened my boxes. Always happens at start of fan rewards on Friday. I reset game sometimes 20x before I see mystery boxes. When I finally get them I click on a box and the box won’t open it just dances around for 30 seconds and then finally opens. Imagine opening 40+ boxes like this I did last Friday 😕 Glu please fix this bug 🐜. Annoying

    It's the 8pm EST ghost zone. Your app probably isn't pulling data quick enough but it will eventually populate if you wait long enough. Everyone else's app is doing the same at this time, actually 12AM UTC (when the day resets) which is why I speculate this happens.

    So do u suggest maybe waiting 10 minutes to open boxes on Friday when fan rewards start @dustyhunks?

    Honestly I have only ever noticed it at times where "something starts" like Fan Rewards or the "day reset" for lack of a better term, but never for more than a minute or two. I have also experienced the unresponsive box as well but as much as our devices connect to Glu servers for latest data I'm not all that surprised when so many of us are refreshing the app and pounding those servers to see what's next. All this is hosted in AWS (Amazon cloud services) so depending on where you are regionally Amazon could be experiencing issues as well which is not Glu's fault. Their stuff is literally hosted on someone else's computer.
