Chip actually told the truth.  Give that person a raise!!… maybe like a quarter.
We pay our outsourced staff $12,000/year and that’s for competent accountants so I assume an incompetent customer service rep would make about $6,000/year divided by 2,080 full time hours = $2.88/hour lol
Dont forget to adjust for the fluxuation of the dollar vs the rupee...its like .83 cents an hour.
you can't spell deteriorate without Detroit

Foreign workers who live on their own country get paid in local currency and don’t need to worry about exchange rate fluctuations.  They do however flat out get paid less for similar work done in the US.  Cost of living differences could be argued but not without recognizing at the same time the stark differences in standards of living.

In the end we are benefiting from the amount GLU decided to allocate for CS investment which is absolutely that  “you get what you pay for”.
