That MFer Dr.SmartassPHD is a whiny bitch. I'm sick of his whining about WoH.
So glad he's finally winning the damn thing so we don't have to see his crap.
Yes, we are aware of the game having crashing issues in the middle of WoH, but we can't compensate you for the gold you lost at this time. This is done on a case by case basis. - TSB Customer Service

I prefer cranberry juice. I find it helps more with my cravings too. I tend to try to eat my feelings away during those times.

What should NOT happen, however, is editing a comment beyond what the writer wrote. It's all or nothing. It isn't the moderator's job to determine which parts of a post we should read. If it violates rules, or the general spirit of the forum, delete the comment. If not, it should stay (understanding the world isn't always a G-rated place). But there's no middle ground there.
Closing a discussion should only happen when it's clear the conversation has gone off-topic in a hostile or negative way. But offending comments can and should be removed prior to doing that. Removing the thread completely says the topic is not allowed.
carry on , going to go finish up my ninth cycle. Here is something for all you haters stuck on the babe
You said, "If it violates the rules, then [the mods] should delete the comment." I agree with that.
However, you also said, "If it goes against the general spirit of the forum, delete the comment." I disagree with that. There is no tangible definition of "spirit of the forum." The mods have not said that they will delete comments that go against the general "spirit of he forum." This is what I am arguing against. I don't think mods should delete stuff that goes against the spirit of the forum, because that basically boils down to deleting stuff that they don't like. If they want rules (which are stupid rules, like the copyrighted material rule), then only delete posts that violate them. They should leave the rest alone.
I respect your side of it, though, and because of that viewpoint, moderators should understand that action is not to be used often or be taken lightly. As the Supreme Court once noted regarding porn, "I know it when I see it."
(Sidenote: the copyrighted material rule exists in any forum owned by any company with legal counsel. It's a CYA that has to be posted even if no one's interested in enforcing it)
