This is an HOF box for the common man! I may take today to cycle HOF and try to land Bench to replace Hornsby as my second keeper. Brett is already locked in and then I'll build by Legend as SS.

I stayed Gold in 19 after going Diamond in 18. I just didn't play the playoffs that would have bumped me to Platinum. For 20, they'll likely make it harder to stay in the lower levels and incent teams to level up through the ranks so my approach will cater to the new lay of the land.

Took me about 15 boxes and $13 but I got Brett - all set for 2020 now with him and Hornsby - going to upgrade from Hornsby to another Brett-like lefty if possible in the next few weeks. Ready for the eventual Ichiro drop...

I had planned on taking blowout skill guys, so Ty Cobb was a target for me since I believe the skills don't turn off/on after the first at bat in a WOH round. HOWEVER, Glu is advertising that skills turn off/on with each PITCH in 2020, so that changes my approach. I recommend you wait on keepers to see if you pull a righty…

I love that you can just start cranking on tourney boxes before the event starts. No bonus points, but can start the event with bonus players in theory.

Ty Cobb is the only ATG hitter I would keep if the game ended today, assuming 2 batters. Hornsby, Berra and Mantle all fringe too. Expecting that the bump will get us to 600 though, so that’ll change my choices.

First pass at Babe with Reggie at G9 with 12/12/ skills (far from maxed out) and I clocked him with 80 gold boost. This bodes well, replaces my righty closer (Toby Harrah).

I only care about WOH. No evidence or anecdotes that convince me that blowout turns off in WOH. Reggie is a closer, straight up - I'll see this weekend how he fares against Babe.

Yup, this guy is ke eper material even if they flex to max 600. Might keep him over Mickey Mantle... thoughts?

With my current lineup, assuming a bump to Max 600 for ATG, I would choose the following: Shawn Green - no brainer Rogers Hornsby or Bobby Grich - will be a tough call, hoping for at least a 580 double-skill righty in the home stretch Trevor Hoffman - I know, I know - he's a reliever. Not super exciting.

It definitely incents purchase, and pushes big spenders even further up the dominance spectrum. I would like to see more attainable "super bonuses" but when they require both ATGs in the boxes and both legends like most days it is active, it's a pretty egregious money grab.

HoF is all about the LxP for me, reasonable to cycle at gold tier. Saving my gold and resources for when they from a max 580 double walk-off Ichiro!
