I thought the same thing. Why have a pitcher as the WOH reward if they can’t be a bonus during WOH and aren’t the bonus player the next day?

I really like this idea. Especially for a team with 7-8 5* pitchers and other teams with batters I would love to add to my team. Good idea!!!!!!

Took me all day but in the last hour of the event cycled twice. Snell is a welcome addition but got crap from the boxes. Still love the challenge and tapping all day long.

To me not worth it. Prime players will be out soon enough. I’ll wait to chase after a prime 3b with two skills.

I needed another 5* pitcher so I bought 24 just to get the fan reward Musgrove. Ended up getting Castillo with box #24. All the other boxes were 4* players. Depends on what you are chasing after.

I was just complaining about the same thing. I did find that I had better scores when I actually played the round instead of autoplay.

I thought it was just me. Terrible scores (several 0) against 1-2 star pitchers. That shouldn’t be happenings.

My keepers have been worth the time and XP to level up. They have helped my beat WOH and my pitcher is clutch during my season playoffs. I understand VIP’s get extra gifts and I would love to get VIP, but I’m realistic about it. I play everyday, several hours a day. To the point my wife gets pretty upset. I used almost 2,000 gold and 125,000 BXP to get almost all of my players capped in Silver. That includes two of my keepers. I made sure to level up my pitchers first. This helps for bonus games and season games. I haven’t started leveling up my sluggers yet.

I bought 1 box last week and got Beckham. I bought 1 box today and got Trout. I guess my luck for the rest of the year is going to suck. Once i get a player I stop buying the POW boxes.

Level 4 took me forever today. Cycled through level 5 pretty quick. I waited until they lowered the skill level and gave me a “live boost” for my team playing. Then had to use the video boost for 5/6 through 5/10.

@bigvivec I stayed bronze until i finished my first season. Just moved up to silver today. I autoplayed the entire season but used the 80g boost for the finals. I leveled up too fast last year so I’m taking my time this year.

I spent the gold and bought 25 boxes over the weekend. Got multiple of everyone except Acuna. But I needed the pitchers so it worked out pretty good.

Finished first season today. I had 100 wins for the season and was promptly swept in the finals. And it wasn’t even close. Thought it seemed off that I was clobbered by a team I had beaten several times during the season.

First year playing. Leveled to Platinum before i understood the benefits of staying gold.
