What counts toward Gold Ballpark Investment

Does anyone know if games played in the HomeRun Derby Gold Battles count towards the investments? That would be a game changer. Cant find a answer anywhere. Emailed GLU but still no answer.

    Try once and see if it goes up? Seems easiest way it’s only 100

    I tested this out a few days ago and it didn’t count towards the stadium gold spent.
