He was released late in the event. I bet they make him a bonus once or twice this week, but I wouldn’t expect much. Isn’t him being a worthy addition to all lineups good enough?
When a player is given to 100% of its players, having that person as a bonus player won’t do you well. Everybody has him. It’s a great gift to anyone who needed a player of his stature

Agree. The ATG gods have smiled favorably on me (with the exception of the Hornsby god who is still on the floor laughing) so with 4 ATG OF, I have zero use for him. Like you said, may be a great blessing for others. I’d rather save my pxp for skills on the future 625 players.
