Totally agree with you bearmeat. Sometimes the odds work for you sometimes they don’t .Obviously it’s frustrating at times but I don’t lose sleep over it.

You summed up my argument perfectly. In the 3 years I’ve played this game, I’ve quit twice for a few weeks. Both times it was because I got tired and burnt out from the grind of diamond life, never about blaming Glu for box odds. I’ve also witnessed dozens of boycotts complaining about box odds and exploitation of players’ spending habits. Each one has failed. Point being, you’re not being scammed. You opened the app, and spent your money/gold on something you know is a gamble...That’s on you.

That's only half true. So you are perfectly happy to be exploited because I'm sure you drop money down to go after players/resources. When you come up empty after how much ever you spend you're not ruffled a little bit by this racket or maybe you like being screwed 🤷♂️ Either way I'm free to play with a team strength of 90k at silver 10 and have no aspirations of moving on because I'm having a lot fun where I'm at. I think as if I'm not being screwed but I'm screwing the game. I know if I dropped hundreds or thousands of dollars and I came up empty 85-90% of the time, yes I would leave yes because the onus does fall on the player but the company also is responsible when they are preying on people's addictions' too. It's not always cut and dry when people battle addictions. People with addiction issues don't need companies preying on them either, as if they are easy marks for profit knowing it will be virtually impossible for them to stop...extremely unethical. At least lotteries and possibly casinos have a gambling helpline for those who are addicted. To take the stand you are taking @Bearmeat is really heartless and cold. Glu isn't after the whales they already have them and they are probably planted by Glu anyways. They aren't after players like me quite honestly they would love to get rid of us. They are after the people who have had addiction problems of one type or another or that do have addiction problems. They know they have to keep reaching for that next bump. I believe those boxes are rigged just for that reason. Yes some responsibility goes to the player but majority goes on the company to run an above board business not an exploitive business.

Does anyone on this forum actually still spend money on this game after all the changes Glu has made this year? Please, step forward and take your prize, I am curious. I stopped spending money before primes came out, there is literally zero point in spending given the box odds/ridiculous bonus set requirements/boring nature of the game (WOH reward decline & intro of cycle "rewards", EB decline into an autoplay race, etc.) unless you are addicted to opening boxes (which is what this game has pretty much become). Plus, you never know if fieldpass will work or not - this year its been about 50/50. I have a nice hoard of gold saved from a combination of double gold and more often not even buy boxes because (1) skills are so terrible, or (2) odds, but when I do, I usually buy 2,500 worth each set for the FR. My original post is outlining how Glu has made the box odds worse and worse as the year has gone on. Not sure how this has progressed into Bearmeat being a d-bag saying it is some guy named "You's" fault for buying boxes.
