@jmsorioles33 awesome comparison with MLB Showdown. I LOVED that game as a kid. I played the NBA and NFL versions too. Funny to think how that game may have had an influence on why we play TSB.

That’s a hard pass from me on 1 and 2. I have no interest in starting the later rounds with 2 outs and don’t really understand how that reduces the “frickery.” Also I can’t tell you how many times I hit the final progress tier for club points because I would play the prime or legend reward at B1. I certainly wouldn’t be opposed to the harder tower staying. But I need to know from Glu that it’s here to stay before building my roster around WOH again. We’ve all been duped by them countless times before, I’m not making any gut check reactions just yet.

No thanks. Glu said in the announcements this is a one-time thing. I’m not throwing money and valuable resources at a one day event when the rewards aren’t worth it... Unless you value club points. I’d still recommend anyone gold and below to stick with the regular HOF tower. The discrepancy in rewards between the two…

It’s going to be much tougher if you’re gold and below, and probably not worth the effort. Scratch that, definitely not worth the effort. I got mowed down by Gagne at 4.10 with JT Snow (525 ovr, 12/12 always on skills, and 9% WOH x-factor). I’ll stick with the regular tower today where I won’t be near as tempted to chuck…

The only mode it is good for is WOH. You could argue CvC/EB, but either it’s always on or not at all. Feast or famine. Plus in CvC you have no idea of predicting if you’ll be playing a righty or lefty every given round. Every other mode... no thanks. I agree with you. I seem to build up cash way quicker than I can spend it, so I typically buy all 10 of the available boxes on Sunday just to build up on resources I have more need for. If only I could build up real-life cash that easily...

For diamond players I can definitely see that. For anyone not diamond, it’s huge. This incentivizes me to stop buying rigged boxes in order to work my way up to the 2500 fan reward tier, and if I’m feeling rambunctious, every tier thereafter. I typically do pretty well in gold battles so to “spend” gold while making gold…

BINGO! Gold is a good place to play if you can’t beat the addiction and quit altogether. You can still compete in all modes and is just enough of a challenge to keep you interested.
